Reddit post hints Electronic Arts are looking at bringing Command & Conquer back to PC

As a child I spent many hours playing Command & Conquer so this latest news is close to my heart. On the Command & Conquer subreddit an employee account posted some news regarding C&C and its future on PC. EA are looking into bringing the series back on PC and would like feedback regarding this.

EA is responding to the C&C communities request for the series to return to PC

Jim Vessella is one of the developers who worked on a number of C&C titles, including Command & Conquer 3, Red Alert 3, and lastly being the Lead Producer on Kane’s Wrath. EA is responding to the C&C communities request for the series to return to PC. The reddit post by Jim Vessella states that they are currently exploring the idea.

I think considering the impact the series had on the shape RTS games to come, it is only right that the PC community gets a remastered version, at the very least. Given the size of Electronic Arts they could do so much with a modern C&C title. With strong multiplayer communities built around Starcraft 2 an RTS game by Blizzard, I think Command & Conquer is an ideal title to move online.
