Counter Strike: Global Offensive New Maps, New Counter Terrorist Skin and Economy Changes

Counter Terrorists FBI Re-skin

Counter Strike Global Offensive is getting a number of changes maps and economy adjustments. On the maps Nuke, Office, and Agency counter terrorists have been given a re-skin turning them into FBI agents.

Two community made maps have been approved by Value and added to casual matching making. Biome described as a big greenhouse in the desert and Sub-Zero which is set in an Arctic base.

Now onto the changes which will have an impact on CS:GO’s game play. In a move to reduce the impact of winning pistol only rounds economy changes have been made.

– Adjusted the start-of-half economy with the goal of reducing the impact of a pistol round win on subsequent rounds.
— In Competitive Matchmaking, both teams are now considered to start the half with a one-round ‘losing streak’ that is reset following a round win. Instead of $1400, the Round 1 loser receives $1900, then $2400 for a subsequent loss, etc.
— The start-of-half losing streak can be adjusted via “mp_starting_losses”
